Fima bought a valuable Renaissance painting in Italy. To avoid customs detention, he asked an artist friend to paint a simple landscape over the painting. When he got home, he handed the painting over to a restoration workshop to have the top painted over washed off.
Two days later, the restorer calls Fima:
- I washed off the top landscape, and the Renaissance painting slid off with it. A portrait of Mussolini appeared from underneath. Should I continue working or is that enough?
