On an winter evening, February 22, 2026, on the stage of the International Center of Culture and Arts «October Palace» - Musical «Mom's Necklace» in Kyiv.

The musical Mother's Necklace is a modern, enchanting production for the whole family, inspired by the hit song of the same name by Ukrainian singer Svitlana Tarabarova. It is a story about family values, the power of love, and faith in goodness.

Plot and Concept

The core of the plot follows the journey of a brother and sister. After their mother's magical necklace scatters, the children embark on a quest to gather all the beads. Each bead symbolizes a vital human virtue. On their journey, the heroes pass through symbolic locations:

• The Land of Goodness;
• The Mountains of Friendship;
• Other magical places where they learn to help one another and believe in their own strength.

 

Creative Team

• Author and Narrator: Svitlana Tarabarova. She not only wrote the songs but also frequently performs as the host or narrator, guiding the audience through the story.
• Music: The performance is filled with Svitlana's bright and educational songs, including the main hit Mother's Necklace, which went viral on social media and among children.
• Objective: The project was created as light therapy for children and parents to distract them from anxieties and remind them of what matters most—family.
